On April 13th 2013, the RMBGRC will be conducting a ceremony recognizing the Sequincentenial (150 years) Anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation. We will invite the public and all citizens of Revere, MA to join us as we place two Markers to identify the burial area where 13 slaves are buried along the north wall of the Rumney Marsh Burial Ground. Two informational tablets will be unveiled with the name of the 13 slaves interterred in the burial ground.
